Volky, I don't by any means do that on a nightly basis... Usually its like a liter for 4 or 5 hours, and that gets me plenty drunk, and I can still control myself. Every so often like once a month or so I really get in the mood to get hammered at a party or something and will drink more then that. The last time I got really smashed I drank a liter of Fireball(Cinnamon Whiskey) in an hour and a half, still managed to call a taxi and end back up across town at my friends place though haha.

Where I live, there isn't all that much to do, so most people drink all weekend every weekend, unfortunately my winter job is preventing me from doing that quite so much.

Well yeah, a liter in 5 hours is still quite a bit. I dunno about controlling yourself, but you might have the alcohol tolerance to handle it. Are you sure these are liters you are drinking, not 750 mL bottles? A liter isn't a standard size, as far as I know. More common is the 750 mL bottle. As for the Fireball escapade, you are lucky you didn't end up in a coma. I doubt you were anything close to coherent though.

I know all about drinking all weekend, every weekend though. LOL.

Getting drunk every weekend is oddly common. While I have the urge to significantly alter my consciousness every now and then, it is not nearly so common. Trick is to find fulfillment in your life. Regularly getting drunk on the weekends is just your body asking for meaning and purpose. hahaha that sounded funny.

I am a bartender, so i know what a liter bottle is. I drank a 750 mL bottle that night and approximately 1/3 of what I had left in the other bottle. I was no where near coherent, I still found my way across a town that I am unfamiliar with, by taxi, and made it to my girlfriends house. I was so trashed I didnt even try to seduce her, and well thats a very very very( let me really stress the word very here) unusual occurence. Haha.

Infact with the "fireball escapade" as you called it volky, i threw up, twice the next day. As heavy and as often as I drink I have on thrown up 3 times in the last two years, that next morning was one such time.

On a side note....Does anyone ever have a rough day, come home and make one drink to sip on after dinner, go to bed, wake up for work the next day and feel like you were out all night partying? I flippin' hate that!

Nope, that has never happened to me. Actually, I can be out all night partying and get up the next day for work feeling fine. Well, I used to be able too anyway. LOL.

Well I agree that I drank a lot that night, maybe not too much, but definitely too fast!

And yeah, I dont get hangovers too often, they happen, but there was two times when I was out working in North Dakota for the summer where I would come back to my camper and make one single drink and then go to bed and wake up with a hangover! It was some major BS!

These days that seems to happen to me all the time. I rarely get drunk, but often hung over.

You guys are doing it wrong...

I understand that it is dehydration, but there are other factors contributing to that too. I've had a few glasses of wine followed by a liter of water, then I wake up with a hang over. The best thing I know to do is make sure that I go to bed sober. If I get tipsy over dinner, I drink water slowly over a few hours then go to bed. I think after a small glass of water per hour it's just goin straight into your bladder. Volkov, isn't this when you chime in with some science you pretend to know?

I noticed darker beers give me hangovers if I get em. Usually I drink 30beers a night or 2 bottles if i'm on scotch or whiskey. (can still backflip most the time)
I think with half the beers the headaches come from adding arsenic and other poisons to brew it faster. In general I can drink heaps with no side effects.

I'm 6ft - 80kg - no fat on me
I drink 25x 375ml @ 5.2% in 3hours or 2x 700ml @ 40% in 5 hours.

How much do I need to drink to get intoxicated beyond functioning? I can't seem to get drunk =( I think it's cos my diet and metabolism.
