I have another question. Do foragers still produce food? Do markets still produce cash? (etc...). Cause what I got from that big post was buildings just housed workers and workers made your stuff.

It's more now that your workers actually matter to your production. You're going to produce food still from foragers, but markets never really ~produced cash~ much beyond the 1,000 per turn per market anyhow. They still operate in that regard, but now they also house workers. A lot of your income is going to come from taxes, but when you can no longer support yourself through taxes, you're going to need markets if you want to float a lot of troops.

Markets still make some cash, but most of your money is going to come from taxing the workers that live on your land. Once the taxes aren't enough income, you should think about maybe building (more) markets, if you want to remain in positive cash production.

It's going to be a lot harder to find someone who has 0 of a type of troop than it is before, now that land will be worth keeping.

Leaders will be driven by ratios to do things, yes. But you can no longer use leaders to attack other players in the same manner, so it's not beneficial to just gain a ton of land and then drop half of it to the farm.

Also, there's no such thing as "loot" or "feast" anymore, so it's a different leader dynamic.
