Magpie is a cashing race that uses tents and markets instead of leaders. Ferret is a farming race that uses foragers instead of leaders. Basically, they are ways to make resources that are not involving leaders.

The real reason that Ferret is so high is because its race spell is called "rain dance". (Seriously, this is why).

The % numbers in the guide are pulled directly from the db, same place the game get them

The descriptions could probably be updated though, haven't looked at them in a while.

Shadow, what's the ratio needed to cast Academy?  Unless it was changed, it used to be quite high iirc.  So it would fail if you tried it with low leaders / high huts.

Also, Ferret needs a quickstart guide - havn't paid attention to it.  Are you really just building 100% Foragers?

The ratio needed for Academy is 90 if I recall correctly. I could be completely wrong, I'll check the code.

When playing stoats, low leaders = low huts. Your leader/hut ratio is always 100 since you put all the rest of your land in tents to maximize academy gains. So ratio for success is never an issue.
