Realistically, I don't think any single person could invent a modern-day gun from scratch.

but guns just for the range and accuracy, and aint no way dark claws would get back up from a shotgun shell to the back of his legs where an arrow or stone from a sling wouldnt do as much damage

Well...I would just create a sword that has a hook on the side and is part axe and has a rectractable handle so it can it can come out and you can use it like a spear.So hah. >:D

I've only shot a .22 at scout camp, they don't let us have bigger guns. And they don't even let us use magazines!
