Magic abilty copycat:The mask mirors your stats for two turns

You are each five steps away. You can attack with a ranged weapon/magic, but melee weapons can only attack when 1 step away. Please say how far away you are. Also if you can, make it into a story.

Tagg jumps 2 steps. (2 steps away)
Cam retreats 1 step. (3 steps away)
Tagg steps 1 step. (2 steps away)
Cam steps 1 step. (1 step away)

Now the attacks I'm not sure how I'm going to do this....

Tagg attacks Cam (1 armor) with (1 attack) double-blade sword. (1 step away)

"The attacking player attacks with up to three attack points x speed, and I roll up to three dice. The defender must choose to resist the attack with up to 2 armor points x speed and I roll up to two die. Each player's highest die are compared, as are their second-highest die. In each comparison, the highest number wins. The defender wins in the event of a tie. With each dice comparison, the loser removes one point from his field (attack or armor)."

The Mask looks around...pulls out his poisoned throwing knives. does a 360 spin and throws both of them faster that you could say "360" He the does a perfect back flip...but slips when he tries to do another one

no right now, we are testing still.

For results, I will diplay the roll and note the modifiers and give results based off of that:

ranged attack; attacker based on speed(4), defender on armor and speed(1 + 1 = 2)

attacker rolls 19(on d20) adds bonus(4) = result(23)
defender rolls 17(on d20) adds bonus(2) = result(19)

All of this is behind the scenes what is revealed is this:

The dagger soars toward Corona, and not expecting this attack Corona is hit by the weapon. A small line of blood, can bee seen on his arm but now The Mask has to move in for combat.
