Easter followed by thanksgiving.

My family always had a huge family reunion and tons of fun every easter, with egg hunts and the like. Lots of fond childhood memories.

Thanksgiving, because I like family time and I like an excuse to cook a really nice meal.

I also like that these are obligation-free holidays. Christmas can be fun, but I find the hustle and bustle and stress of finding gifts for everyone takes away from it. Easter and thanksgiving are just time to enjoy the company of friends and family without all the fluff.

Halloween, because it gives me an excuse to wear costumes, and Christmas, because of the decorations an music.

Was never fond of St. Patricks day.

I love christmas. Easter is good for family time, but it's too long... I mean four days of family time, seriously. And it seems more jesusy than christmas.

St. Patricks day is good for drinking.

Thanksgiving is pretty much a country only holiday too.

Do you guys have state holidays for horse races? Or is that just an Australian thing? Coz I think it's pretty cool.

I dont do Halloween and I dont do thanksgiving.
Christmas and birthday are only 5 days apart for me so I like that and I like Easter because of the chocolate :)

Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, my birthday. All the winter-ish holidays just because I've been in Florida all my life and I love the cold but not ungodly freezing temperature it gets during those months. Also I associate Christmas and Thanksgiving (and my birthday too since it falls in-between) with hanging out with family and good times, soooo, yeah. Good memories. :)

Halloween - because I can't wait to go out drinking covered in blue latex body paint with the rest of the X-Men team :D
Halloween's not such a big deal over here but there's a local goth club which always goes all-out. Fancy dress competition with a cash prize? I'm in. Should have totally won last year too but we lost to a smurf. This year it's not likely we'll win since the theme is pirates and we're X-Men but we'll give it a good go :)

Also, New Years' is pretty great.
