Welcome to the forums I have already messaged you in the game, a disadvantage of beeing in a clan is that other clans can have unlimited attacks on you, so if someone wants to kill you and you are not in a clan they will just max out the attacks on you.
Dont really worry about that much its most likely that no one will try to kill you.

Hey! If you join a clan that's hated, or you start a clan and your hated and no one joins, then that's a disadvantage for the clan. But welcome. Nice to see new players.
