The mournfully terrbile "nooo's!" Originally, Vader's silence was powerful because you couldn't see his expression behind his mask. What was he thinking? Did he approve of the Emperor's torture of Luke? Did he disapprove? Was he unhappy?

The "no's!" not only sound terrible, they cheapen the whole scene. It may seem small, but this is just one of many changes Lucas has made to a film he didn't even direct (he didn't direct 5 or 6). The worst of all is changing Boba Fett's original voice actor.

Hi Krowdon, as you seem to usually take some pride in having correct spelling and grammar in your posts, I thought I would point out your mistake in this sentence for you so you can improve. Where you have said "would of", I think you meant to say "would have", or the the contracted version, "would've", because otherwise your sentence doesn't make a lot of sense.

I hope your fellow spa roomies can take a lesson from this and improve their posting as well.
