Why would the good guys be fighting each other? It doesnt make sense. Thats not how it happens in the books.

and anyway, i thought badgers were warlords, otters were strong, squirrels were quick and agile (this adds nothing to my arguement).

It does have some discussional topic and answers a question ( albiet a stupid and pointless one). Trying to keep it on topic just changes the subject. So as we were saying *ahem*.
I didn't think otters would be too strong, and badgers weren't warlords. Maybe the hedgehogs were strong or possibly the moles would work. And maybe they're not all good.

have you not seen any wildlife? badgers would destroy anything else apart from maybe a fox and otter, and even then some otters in the amazon grow to 2m long and are known as river wolfs. badgers were seen as great warriors in the books and otters often seen as strong.

also owl is a competitor for being the top dog, but i still think badger would dicapitate one!

I meant purely in the books that badgers weren't warlords, they were just strong fighters and rulers of their territory. A warlord would be m0re of a guy taking land and trying to protect it, instead of protecting a determined territory. And I kinda thought of otters as all around because they were fast, strong, powerful, and agile.

Jacques seems to have split the good and evil characters in the books by herbivore / carnivore
Which makes some sense, creatures that survive by peacefully eating plants = peace, good.  Those that survive by killing and eating others = fighting, bad.

The vermin gangs in the books had a habit of fighting each other and the goodbeasts, the goodbeasts generally just defended from attacks - they never actively looked for fights.  So that's why we've just got the vermin races, and by vermin I mean badbeasts. 

I've always liked Fox the best
It got nerfed stat-wise several years back, so its not as potent a leader race as it has been, but its still fun to play around with.

so would toad to be fair, but i guess we cant keep adding races just for the sake of it.
