You have won what is, quite possibly, the worst kind of cultural victory against us. We can, have, and (hopefully) will continue to beat you to a pulp in the game, but for now your whining - yours by name - has driven one of our guys (not Volkov) to not even play, 4 of our guys/girls to apathy with regard to RWL (I am in this group), and Volkov to do whatever Volkov does that isn't RWL.

It is one thing to be a persistent cancer in game. I do it all the time. Infest and destroy from within.

It is entirely different to be a cancer on the community.

So congratulations. At least for now, you win. By sheer flood of tears, you have driven most of us to not even log into the game on a regular basis, which means you and whoever you manage to pick up win by default.

Besides, the impression I got from Volk was that he was bored with winning every round, unless I misinterpreted his message. I said something like.

Besides, apathy to RWL is a natural phase. Every few months, I get bored. Most people seem to. Doing the same thing every day for months does get boring. The same way I don't play my favorite video games or watch my favorite film every day-it gets dull.

But if you want to blame lack of activity on me, go ahead. No less ridiculous then half the other stuff you say. Alazar and Checkerpaw kicked up a storm twice this bad in the past and there was still ingame activity. I guess settling things ingame has no meaning, right. ::) People chose to be inactive, possibly cos it's summer, or because winning 5imes in a row loses appeal. And I feel pretty brilliant if I dominate the whole server without breaking a sweat, 'tis people's own choice not to play. Especially when they astill outnumber us.

Really? Saying Kilk is asking person x to spy on me when you actually asked person x to spy on me seems like lieing, to me. Maybe I just don't understand the definition, because I'm not super intelligent like you and am always wrong. ::)

Retreating to "take it in-game" is something you should have considered back when you first started crying over BAº, which is something else that I enjoyed greatly that had to be sacrificed to appease You.

Also I don't understand where you get off on "IM ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED BRO" because it just isn't true. At most, there are 4 of us. Shadow normally doesn't play our game and Gen normally does whatever Holby does, and Holby hasn't sided with us once. Sevah, Pac-man, Varg, Etendue, Krowdon, Daryn, etc are neutral ringers we bring in, but they're still neutral. You are benefitting from Sevah being a good player this round. Next round maybe not. Thats just how it works, and something you don't seem to understand. You offer nothing to anyone outside of the game but a grudge against us.

What you new people fail to realize is that RWL is about 20% digital rats, and about 80% saving face and making impressions. If you have issues raising a consistent team, it isn't because someone else is unfairly claiming all the vets because of internet bro connections. It is because the vets in question look at their options and make a choice based on who they want to work with. Same for new players. In the planning phase for the glorious revolution on reg, I spent 2 months getting to know people I had never met or worked with, and in the end managed to get about 70% of the people on the server on board.

And it isn't like we don't mess with each other. The round before last I actually bailed on our crew, stole all of their net, and changed my name at the last minute. Check the immort.

RWL is, more than anything, forum PVP. And you're terrible at it.

Apathy to RWL promi is normal, yes. Apathy to the entire idea of, and anything to do with, the game because one person consistently finds fault with your activities and runs to the forum to whine about it is another completely.

The solution is simple; when you have an issue, think of a solution BEFORE you come crying to the forum. Nobody minds when a do'er comes to the forum to cry. I do not care that Sevah made this topic. He feels he has a legitimate beef, and has actually done something about it - on his own - BEFORE coming here. He didn't ask for intervention or a solution. He made one.

What do you do when there is an issue? You immediately come here to maek poats about how you are being mistreated and how everyone else is working against you.

Change your order of operations so that you are acting before you complain, and I don't really think anyone will mind the occasional tear laden thread about how mean ol' Kilk/Neo/Rudder/Volkov are metagaming you like you've never been metagamed before. The best part is that acting before crying might actually produce results sometimes. Did you do a thing last round? Sure. I commend you on making some net there at the end. But the crying all the way up to the end kind of spoiled any commendation you might have received for your actions in game from just about anyone.

Firetooth is becoming legend. Hes starting to play like me and most his complaints are about the way winning teams exist until our small rallying force shames them.

I saw +6player teams a few rounds ago. Firetooth and me are the force to be reckoned with.

You ignored my post on Vargarth, Pac-man and Twilight Shadow. The first two were driven away by unfair diplomacy, the latter by the repetitiveness of your play style.

You chose to give up BA. You didnnt lose control. Also, it wasn't done to appease me. Me and my whole clan were annoyed we were killed unprovoked, I talked with KIlk, he made KM, things didn't go the way we planned. I never wanted to get rid of BA, we planned a new clan.

Also, I'm nearly as good as Sevz. Me and him had an equal share in production last round, he did more of the planning. Insulting my ability is no use. I'm not the best player here, but there isn't much I can do to get better, it's all about numbers...not so much with talent. I've traveled, I've played different proms and have outside perspective, and I can easily solo a top 3 finish.

As for outnumbered, tron round:

Worship: Shadow, Kilk, Purpy d, Fake Orcrist, Neo, Rudder, Volk; all active

Black Guard: Firetooth, Sharptooth, Twilight Shadow

It isn't just about numbers, though. Your team usually outclasses ours.

Perhaps we have different visions. I think it's largely ingame, with the forums supplementing that and letting people chill and get to know each other outside the game. Forum PVP isn't my thing. I don't dislike anyone, I try to keep ingame and out of game separate...which is difficult when people keep insulting me.

As for raising a team, it's because people won't change who they work with. Before Km, I worked with a variety of people, but now nearly everybody is in the same team, I have a much smaller selection. I still manage to have a more different team to you. I've offered to work with Kilk and other people in the emp round; they rejected me. Not my problem. Why should I make the effort? I've never had problems finding teams before. Imperial Phoenix, Shadow, Volkov, Marrell, Pip, Sevz, even Alazar and Wolf Snare, who used to hate me.

Also, you're representing a whole group with your comments. WHich is fine. You don't like me. I realize that. But you fill every thread with posts insulting me if I so much as mention ingame. I do something ingame, I post because I'm bored and want people to do something, you flame me. How is that not ingame action, I've been quiet on the forums all round and with Sevz locked up all the land. Last round I also barely posted, except that time Kilk was drunk and said Shadow was cheating and raged against solo leaders, but it's in the past and all that.

As for acting, in the whole land farm topic I had also locked prior to any real arrangement with Sevz when I first posted. ALso, some problems don't have solutions. How do I solve being outnumbered 2:1 by a clan with 33% of the playerbase?

Oh right, I can't. It takes 3 people to take down a stoat, and we only even had that for a few days. In which we did a takedown to try to solve the problem, to get people to care, but nobody did. The problem wasn't something that could be solved. Surely you can realize that?

Anyway, if you have enough time to argue with me, which I doubt you enjoy, you have enough time to do something ingame. I'm sorry if I've killed the whole site with my discontent, but I don't control anybody. I can't make anybody do anything. If you want to play, do. If you don't, don't. But don't complain and flame me for doing the exact same thing you've done 4+ rounds in a row.

For somebody who complains about whining, you're doing a fair bit myself. Like I said, what's done is done, if you don't like what is ingame, join up and do something if you have the power, which you do. Insulting me here achieves nothing. The one time I have a team that outnumbers and outclasses you, it seems to be you are the one hiding and refusing to play. I've endured 4 rounds of being insulted, flamed, beaten and ignored by everybody outside your team, I'm still here, because I still enjoy the game. Don't claim having to endure some complaining about what is, in honesty, a completely unfair game style (all the experienced people against all the unexperienced people) is in anyway some kind of awful, terrible thing to endure.

My original post was "see the top 5, we're dominating, do something," which is part of what Sevz stuff. It wasn't whining at all.

It's easy to make anything sound ridiculous when you put it in such mocking terms. I don't deny I went overboard with my whining, and I apologize for annoying people, but I have raised points that needed raising this round, ie. land farm and cities. How is that whining? Can I not even point out a flaw in the round without whining? Had you or Kilk done it after I'd built 300 cities, nobody would've accused you of whining. Plus, venting frustration is natural. Shadow vented frustration that nobody murdered Volk when his shields were down. You vent frustration that indies are underpowered.

I get that people play for the community. That's fine, some people here don't even play the game. I play primarily for the game, but I still visit spa. I'd still visit the forums if the game went, but I wouldn't be happy, either. In the same way some people don't really frequent the forums much (Sevz, siegemaster) it's fine for people to not play ingame much. You're putting words in my mouth, as usual. If I only cared about the game, I'd be a valhall or endrev.

If everybody posts saying they're absent because of me, I'll accept that. Until then, it sounds completely ridiculous. I haven't insulted or antagonized anybody, if anything you've insulted and mocked me. It's summer, and though here it's tanking it down with rain, some people have holidays or places to go, I was gone Wednesday and Tuesday last week. People have real-life issues as well. Besides, if it's primarily forum first, why should what I do ingame and on the turbo board affect anything else?

I've had enough arguing every fine point with you, this is getting nowhere. Whatever I do or say I whine, I see no point posting anymore if that's the way it is. I can't make a suggestion to balance a flawed aspect of the theme, I can't try to get more people to play, I can't try to advertise my clan, because I'm whining and destroying the whole community. I get you. I'm wrong and you're right, everything is clear now, what a waste of the past four months, guess opinions aren't real, just the will and view of Neo. ;)

Neo, you and Kilk (playing wise), are still essentially noobs, but luckily, you've assembled a team who can do stuff. Your grand reg plan was pretty crap, really. Turbo stuff was fairly good, though.

Firetooth, you are a bit whiny, but I don't think it's worth singling you out.

Every player here contributes to the community in different ways. It doesn't have to be robust conversation, or grand scheming, or top finishes, or whatever else. Firetooth and pippin are just as worthy a part of our make up as anyone.

For a community that's survived nearly nine years on just a text based game, we don't have a lot to complain about.

We can definitely improve loads, in terms of developing the game and forming a bigger and more diverse playerbase, but all this doom and gloom is way over the top.

Woah, thanks Holby. When I viewed this thread, I expected a "Firetooth sucks all he does is whine" post.

Plus, that's probably the most constructive post so far. The rest are just me and Neo insulting each other.

Agreed. Wildcat is useless, there is no reason to play as magpie whilst Marten exists and stoat only really is good for locking and takedowns...I'm surprised you rated painted one so high, though. It's only really good for scouters and newbies.
