Except instead of Wolf and Marten in a line down the top 10, it will be Lizard and Rat.*

@Shael: Cashing takes so long because we keep having to back to army management to changes taxes every few turns. Would it be possible to add an option box to the "loot" page, where we can say

loot (x) turns at [y]% tax

and have it filled by default to what it set in army management, but otherwise to change it temporarily for the next (x) turns, or until turns stop, whichever comes first?

Yeah, it sucks that people are just all going lizard, but imo the only race even remotely creative in this enviroment is magpie due to the way the strat works and the fact their net won't just be invulnerable. Ferret is just Wolf without the leaders-people can still make food, market it, build camps, remove it and sell it with no worries. The only difference I can imagine is they're 100% foragers, not 100% huts.

The few creative strats like Magpie, Stoat and Wildcat all require mixed land, and the latter 2 huts.

Note that this round, sack always works at 100% power for everyone no matter who you are hitting. So food massing will be rather difficult.

Gotta say, though. Surprised everyone went lizard and not rat. What was the reasoning? Just the defense/food points, or was there anything else?

It was the food mainly for me though if i join a team i will most likely see if i can change to rat :D

Lizard was for the sack defence, foraging, indy skills and market sale price all combo'd.
This is a back and forward theme, team indy is highly rewarded but solo hitlimit and desertions add an obstacle.

Best strategy for this round is Landlocking (Eg the empire in top spot)

Would there be a person willing to teach me a good way to play a no leaders round? I have used them in the past 2 rounds I have played and am not sure of a good way to earn net at a good rate.

I would also like to know which one of you signed up as Preußen. I left for a while to move houses, and already someone has taken my name. I shall take it as flattery, but would like to suggest that in later games you not do this.
