There was actually a real life troop-deployed nuke launcher considered by the U.S government, believe it or not. :D

I'm a lowly console gamer, all our PC's are rubbish. The best one has linux so can barely play any games. Tried oblivion once on PC and the ground texture's kept dissapearing. The only PC games we really have are RTS's.

Heck, half our PC's can barely handle Knights of the old republic. Those games released in 2003 and 2004. Lol.

I'm kind of a gamer but not somebody who has a steam account or gets every big new title and plays the multi-player non stop...only real multi-player titles I have at the moment are the latest halo games, and I haven't been online for months really.

The two most stuck up groups of gamers are PC elitists and hardcore, number-crunching RPG players. A mix of the two creates a terrible, elitist monster who is feared by all.

Yeah RPG's are my favourite games too, but they have some fans straight out of the 90's. "Voiced protagonists, customizable appearances and different genders are a waste of resources." Plus any RPG that doesn't conform to the standard rules (inventory, turn based combat, thousands of weapons that serve no purpose such as in ME1) is flamed. Not that there's anything wrong with classic RPG rules (kotor, baldurs gate, oblivion) but for some games (Mass Effect) stats that control your weapon accuracy and damage don't work.

1. Mass Effect 3
2. Deus Ex: Human Revolution (coming in 16 days!)
3. Skyrim
4. Halo 4 (don't really care about the CE anniversary edition but sharp may buy it)
5. Rage

somewhere below 100, yes even below Modern Warfare 3. The Old Republic

Ok, perhaps a bit harsh there, but I can't believe Bioware canceled Kotor 3 for an MMO. I'm sure it will have great storytelling and characters, but that's a given. I'll probably pay for at least a few months, just so I can see the HK-47 cameo.

Also funny to notice the stats for contributions based on the operating system. PC users are cheapskates. The humble indy bundle is kind of passive aggressive about their choice of posted stats ^_^

As for gaming, atm I'm playing Sins of a Solar Empire, Homeworld 2 (just on the last level) and still doing some Reach multiplayer, mostly RTSes

I think a lot of ME fans are also itching for a way to stick it to the Turian Counselor in the 3rd one, Firetooth can probably tell you some of the funnier suggestions but on a forum board someone said they hoped you could smack his face into a Reaper in the third one . . .

Best suggestion to punish the turian councilor was to tape his fingers together so he couldn't finger quote and throw him out of an airlock into a reaper whilst re-quoting his "AH yes, reapers" speech.
