I think you misinterpret me when I say joke. I don't mean it negatively, just truthfully. Spa is usually pretty much a glorified chat room with some craziness added. Nothing wrong with that.

Besides, Unga already edits pretty much every post he can with the stupidest things. There hasn't been a post I made in spa he didn't edit with something when he was mod.  Also, over time things may change slowly and he may edit more and more. It may not be intentional, standards slip over time. I just think it's unnecessary, but whatever. Either way, I have no real intent to post in spa when Unga's proved he can't resist the urge to change my posts to something like "lol capitalism ftw."

Ungatt went crazy with the moderation before because that was the point of the contest. Anyone who won that contest would've done the same thing. As I have said multiple times...and as Ungatt stated in his pinned topic in Spa...he will not be editing everything in sight just for grins.

A pessimist is what an optimist calls a realist. Spa was and is still to a degree a huge chat room, mainly between Krowdon, Night Wolf and Briar, and now RSL. Now it's becoming more of a board again, but my point still stands. Once again, it was pretty funny as a huge chat room, I went there quite a bit as well.

So what is the point of Unga modding again? If he doesn't edit anything, how on earth does it increase spa's activity? Your points seem to contradict each other, at least the way I'm reading it.

In some ways I am someone they all atagonize. I stir up trouble. I make people want to post again. I give them a purpose. I give the spa true chaos. But I shall not abuse. I am a passive entity.

Considering it's a board with no direction and purpose, and considering Ungatt is a central figure, I don't see what the problem is.

I mean after all, what goes on in SPA is generally meaningless - by the admission of those opposed to Ungatt being the mod - so why does it matter?

I think its neat that Ungatt is getting this opportunity. He gives SPA life, and has motivated a lot of the activity in there over the past 6 months to a year as I look back over it.
