The Lady Shael

So what pets do you guys have, or what pets have you had in the past?

Right now my family has a dog (an adorable Yorkie) and a bunch of fish.

I'll actually be moving into my own house soon, and I'm thinking about getting a hedgehog. I'm just looking for a somewhat low-maintenance pet...something more interesting than goldfish, and less smelly than hamsters. So let me know if you guys have any suggestions. =)

Hedgehogs also smell, most small animals have an odor about them, I believe. They pretty much drag pee all over just because, and that'll smell. Basically what I'm trying to say is get a weiner dog.

Are you going to be buying a lawn tractor? If so what kind?

The Lady Shael

Awww. I've heard that hedgehogs are less smelly than hamsters but I don't really know. I don't really wanna get a dog cause I work all day from 8-6 so I'd hate to leave it home all day. =| I'm also considering a bird like a parakeet or something....I used to have parakeets when I was little and they were awesome.

Get a turtle!

Cats are pretty much odorless if you can let them outside unattended.

Too many pets.

Two cats, an annoying dog (I love dogs, but they can be very annoying!) and some fish.

I'm currently in top position by a huge margin BUT I'm intentionally dropping down to the bottom.

Hey Goldfish are interesting! . . . ok well maybe a bit boring . . . ok well they don't do much all day except swim in circles but (I'm going to stop talking to myself now)

As for good pets (that aren't Goldfish) cats are surprisingly easy to take care of, and I have yet to meet one that really smells.

They might be, really the smell of small animals is directly related to how often you change their bedding. So if you're diligent with that I'm sure you can reduce the smell by a lot. I'm still pulling for the weiner dog.

Please get back to me on the tractor that you buy so that I can live vicariously through your purchase. If it's your first tractor you are in for the experience of a lifetime. Please consult the polling section after you have purchased your tractor as we are engaging in an important discussion about after-market additions to your mowing device.

That website is WAY outdated, you can tell as much from this picture alone:

Netscape was discontinued, what, 2 years ago? and it hasn't had any real market share for about 10 years

Troll alert?

How dare you insult that wonderful reliquary of tractor-related information. I shall defend the honor of tractors and all tractor-based community sites with as much gusto as a man of my stature can muster.

No, I live in Southern Kentucky, Sharptooth. How is that even a valid troll attempt? Unless you are trying to troll me.

Sorry Unga, the Guineafowl bit got me suspicious

They are useful for stopping roosters from trying to kill each other all the time. Oh and they eat pests too I guess. But  I mean, chickens do that already.

Get a turtle. They're pretty chill.

Pac-man

I have an austrillian shepherd, a cat, a couple of goldfish, and a rabbit.

The cat is definitly my favorite. After all, look at how many life lessons can be learned from a cat: how to be lazy, how to insult people, how to be fickle, etc.

If you're looking for a relatively low-matinence pet, a rabbit might be the way to go. Their tons of fun and don't take a ton of work.
