It's not trolling if you're spewing recycled internet memes and catchphrases. Trolls are to be subtle to the point that the presentation of their arguments is seamless and lacking any implication of the act being commited. The best trolls are never suspected of being so.  Most "trolls" are kids with poorly constructed arguments or grammar who default to LOLTROLLED when their arguments are cracked or their obvious mental flaws are pointed out.

Please don't default to that.

The internet needs more classy old-fashioned trolls. If you need a picture or a regurgitated meme, you're doing it wrong.

Not really. Trolling is just creating a tooic.video etc and trying to get a response. The best trolls are, imo, the ones who appeal to certain audiences and don't appeal to others, just how the best lies are those with a hint of truth. Good trolls should also be genuine, and always stand by their reasoning.

Here's a hint-sticking a massive trollface as your avatar means you will never troll successfully as your intent will be called out right away. ;)
