No WYSIWYG, pure HTML and CSS, although my code editor helps make sure I write the mark up properly (and gives me hints sometimes)

The gradient was also made using CSS3, so no graphics involved

Nice!! I still have to learn this HTML5 and CSS3 stuff. I still make all my layouts with tables. :P I prefer backend stuff to design.

Layouts with tables :o

Also HTML5 + CSS3 include some awesome stuff (gradients, canvas element, video element etc.) you should look into it

But saying that I really need to look more into backend type stuff, my Python isn't quite up to scratch at the moment :-[ although I'm finding I prefer design much more to backend stuff at the moment

Hey, that was the norm before all this "div" stuff came into the picture. :P I know how to use divs in theory, I've just been trained to think in tables. I might change my ways though, since this new stuff looks pretty neat.

Div's can be a bit confusing but once you get your head around them they're definitely better than tables

Saying that I remember using tables (years ago) and they are a lot easier to grasp than Div's (well at least I found them easier to grasp)
