Nintendo DS games

This kind of came up in the Spa Room, and thought it deserved a serious topic.  :)

Do any of you own a DS? If so, what games do you play?

I just recently started getting into playing. My sister and I share a first-generation DS, and so far I've played all 5 Ace Attorney games, and Ghost Trick, a fairly recent game made by the same team who did Ace Attorney. Looking out for more awesome games though. =)

I saw the 3DS is coming out on March 27th...for a whopping $250. I might take advantage of people throwing away their DS lites or DSi's.

I do not own a DS, but I do have a DS emulator on my computer.  Ace Attorney games are awesome, BTW.  So are all the Pirates of the Caribbean games for DS.

Ghost Trick is an incredible game. Ace Attorney's pretty good too, but it gets a little wordy at times and the last case of the fifth game was especially slow. If you're looking for similar games try the Professor Layton series. There's actually going to be a Professor Layton/Ace Attorney crossover game coming out soon for the 3DS, but an English translation has yet to be announced.

Yes, unfortunately. I'm tempted to buy one so I can play it if it comes out in English.

Professor Layton is a great game. I own two of the games and I love them.

Which ones do you own? Do you have to play them in order?

I have Professor Layton and the Curious Village and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box. And yes, I did play the in order. I have only gotten a little bit into the Diabolical Box, but I really enjoy it. Also, I don't think you have to play them in order as it is a different case, but I think you might get a better sense of Layton and Luke (the professor's assistant.)
