I'd been going with Link until I played SSBB and saw Lucario. Now, for this series of games, Lucario has replaced Link as my favorite, where available. Otherwise, I'd still go with Link.

TS is right, Star Fox is awesome!!!
If I was playing Melee, I'd go with fox every time.

Then again, he's suffered quite a nerf from SSBM to SSBB.
Nowadays I use Falco because Fox doesn't have a good spike anymore and Falco can chain-grab and DACUS a lot more easily.
