Anonymous attacks

Are they supposed to be anonymous only when you succeed, or no matter whether you fail or succeed? Because I just had a failed attack, and while I can figure out who it was from, it does not say so in the news.

Pretty sure it should be like that. People usually fail 1 or two attacks in a string of 21, and if those failed attacks gave it away then it wouldn't be a very anonymous round. It is already pretty easy to figure out who hit you in most situations.
