Reasoning behind the delayed reset?

Theory 1: This next set is going to be so epic that it needed extra attention
Theory 2: There will actually be no bugs in the next round (I can hope, right?)
Theory 3: Someone has been trying to go through all 6 seasons of LOST to see if it really was just the dogs dream.
Theory 4: ...

I think it is closest to theory 1 since most of the admins have been on the past two days so it should be epic!
