Almost 8 years ago, I came to this website when I was a freshman in high school.

Tomorrow I'm graduating from university with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. =D

It's been a wild ride, RWLers. And it doesn't end here. So is there anyone else graduating soon?

What maths did you do in high school to lead up to it.

AP calculus. IB would be good if it's an option at your school. not sure what the aussie equivlent is, but it is basically just an advanced version of whatever the standard math courses are.

Get any linear algebra you can, but most high schools don't offer it.

Oh so 3 unit maths would cut it.
In my high school we can do General, 2 unit or 3 unit Maths

Yeah, just take the highest level your school offers. You'll find that you relearn a lot of it in first year university, but that is fine - you can use it to get a great GPA in first year and cement any mark-related scholarships you managed to get. If you have the option to skip a math course because of a high school credit, I recommend taking it anyway.

I'll be out of college in two years with a degree in finance/economics.

It feels weird to be at the end of my second year already.
