Not if used correctly. It's not a great idea, I admit, but other promis have the ability to purchase leaders, if only in small amounts.

Loyalty has a small net value.

Other proms do this (FAF for one). The loyalty market isn't very active there, the reason being that leader players use their own, and indiers don't usually have much to sell.

So... it has been done, and it really didn't do all that much.

interesting to make a sinlge race with ability to aid leaders. in addition i feel making loyalty a puclicly traded comodity would be acceptable, also if we raise the net value it could make it a more competitive venture.
