Leaders? Guards? Police? Border Patrol?

I know this question has probably been asked many times before but searching it up in the game guide and forums turned up nothing for me . . .

I took a look in manage army and couldn't remember for the life of me what:
Leaders
Guards
Police
&
Border Patrol

actually do???

Can someone help me out?

Nothing - they used to do something, now there are just there because it's too annoying to actually change the display.

I can comment out the display, not a big deal. 
I wasnt aware the feature was taken out...  but I'd forgotten about it anyways

lol so ive been fiddling with them the last 2 months for nothing.... we should get them back to functioning us.

They were taken out for a reason. They were originally intended to work with other features that have since been taken out as well, and they were causing imbalances in several areas of the game, including leader suicides and sacking.
