Lastly, what is this Numetal crap you are linking too? Their both completely mainstream Top 40 bands. It's your cage match I suppose, but still, it's not even trying to follow the ideals of the Cage Match. Besides, if you want me to go back to metal/hard rock, just make a dang suggestion!

(OK, the music isn't actually crap, Godsmack is generally a decent band, but they get incessant airplay. You can't go five minutes without hearing "Whiskey Hangover" on the radio.)

yes, but the point of cage match isn't necessarily about the bands themselves, it's more about the music. Sure they overplay whiskey hangover, which imo is alot worse than their earlier stuff, but... I've never heard either of these two songs on the radio. I thought it was obvious that we all wanted you to go back to metal. Either way, criticize if you must, I happen to like both songs and am awaiting what the rest of the forums think regardless of negative input.

btw volk, dont peg me for another ungrateful listener. I happen to listen to alot of the good oldschool metal too, such as megadeth. Curious; have you heard of Children of Bodom?

All I heard when I was doing metal was "what's with all the metal?", since I've moved away from metal, I haven't heard any complaints. I'll stick a metal song in next week.

If I choose the right metal song... Iron Maiden or Judas Priest maybe. They don't get a lot of radio airplay these days. Then that song can dominate for awhile, and then I'll pick a couple of obscure bands.

Personally I don't consider this metal. I voted for Nonpoint. Its an old song, got it from the radio actually. It was played alot about 2 years ago? Somewhere in there. Both good songs. Godsmack is a really good band too.

Children of Bodom is a pretty sweet band. Reminds me alot of In Flames, if you haven't heard then Snare then check them out. Anyways why not put some of the new Mudvayne on here if you like it. They have some really good new stuff that could be a little more friendly to the crowds ha. Or even old Mudvayne for that matter. They are a phenominal band.

Nonpoint, mostly because I find Godsmack and incredibly boring band. I was really into them when they first released a studio album...for about 6 months. they got old really fast and each album release was worse then the previous.
