The Obliterator

Thats cause i never hold my own networth.
Its always sent to someone else.
Not many people have accually seen how i work.
Which is why iv gotten 3 or so most underrated player awards  :-\
Watching people fight is fun...
...but getting involved is so much better

Don't worry about it dude. They say many of the same things about me. You are a very good indy, and a pretty good leaderer as well. Oblit is no god of indys, but he is a darn good one. Way above average imo.
Turbo Highest Rank:Co-Emperor with Wolf Snare, Emperor

One of the most underrated players at RWL..

How can you even measure that? All indyers are good - if they weren't, they wouldn't indy coz it's boring as duck.

Peace Alliance

There are tricks of the trade that help you be a super efficient indy. I've seen people waste their turns indying and still make a half-decent haul, i'm sure that's still fun!

Gorak

I don't look for indy's to hold their net, rather I look at net of their clans and allies, watch for increases and what not.
You'd be surprised just how much I observe.

I'm not saying Oblit is not a good indy, but I am saying that over the last year, he has been talked up like he's the greatest ever.
Oddly enough, this talk is not done by Oblit himself
Victory without honour, is more shameful then defeat.

I've never really understood the fascination with playing a team indy, it really isn't that hard. Get stats from your leads, break people for land, aid, build, w/e repeat in some order and then you end your run with very little net and your idiot clan mercs a billion networth of troops on a freaking Marten. Or is that just what happens to me?

Best overall player - Peace Alliance.
best Leaderer - Sevz
best indy - Genevieve
Best Clan/Team - Blackfly

Most memorable moment -
Biggest Surprise  -  Alliance not challenging Blackfly or any solid clan stepping up
Biggest Dissapointment - Cloud never coming back and clan One never doing anything

Most feared player -
most annoying player - Mr. Noob
most underrated player - The Landfarm, he's always getting so much land without ever attacking. Someone give this man the props he deserves already
most overrated player - Shadow
Biggest talker - Firetooth

I'm currently in top position by a huge margin BUT I'm intentionally dropping down to the bottom.

I rate an indy by the way they run turns, first thing is target order, how they manage the troops they make (sale order), knowing their upkeep for making effective troops
(eg 10k makes X Stoats until the upkeep becomes more than the base rate on mercs comparative to turns used vs refill time) and most importantly Diplomacy.
Do you realize how aimless an indy can be without a team to cuddle and just 1 enemy? not a solo race at redwall but very well used by juska and volkov.

As for Oblit, the reason he's so respected for his indy skills is because his accurate eye for overstacking/massing. It's not easy to make more troops than the peak of the land. He can make more skiffs than anyone i've seen, or more stoats, or more rats. At making 1 line he uses his turns land and costs very effectively from what i've observed.

As for team Indy, the better indy is the most aware and available

end of the day, 100k makes a specific amount, whoever manages it best wins, As if no one else voted Riddick for biggest talker.

Coding out holes in the game is the best way to do things.
Relying an the admins to patrol is a) time consuming for the admins in question b) unreliable c) only invites conflict
There is no conflict or "I didn't know any better!" excuses with a coded in rule.

I think Oblit doesn't get the credit he deserves, loads of people brag about how good he is while he just quietly gets on with indying . . .  then he gets blamed for being overrated . . .

Unfortunately Ally I have to agree with you being biggest talker.

I'm working on it, I've been inactive on REG for ages, but if it did happen it'd probably be really slap dash, I'm not an amazing player and I'm not too good at takedowns . . . it would be fun though.
