I have 160 mil net
Im a Marten
I have 8.8 mil leaders
However my loyalty costs are way high.
For example Goldmine is 1.3 mil loyalty per cast.
Heal is 4.6 mil loyalty.
And Raise defences is 200k loyalty.
Should they be this high if so how do i get them lower.

Lower your leaders and your net and your loyalty costs go down bro ^_^
Turbo Highest Rank:Co-Emperor with Wolf Snare, Emperor

One of the most underrated players at RWL..

Martens are loyalty deficient. That's to balance out the /powerful/ race spell.

Me, I'd ally with a wolf.

No. Leaders have no affect on loyaly cost, net has a small one. The real cost-rasier is land. The more land you have, the more it costs. That's why some people prefer to drop land before casting.

Kk i suppose that makes sense i had 88k land.
Today i ran with 38k land and the loyalty costs were down to about 500k per gold mine

My favourite thing to do as a marten is divide my runs. One to get land, get ratio and get loyalty. then I wait till I'm attacked and do a half-run (or sometimes full if people wait a while before attacking me) that is just gold-mines.

heaps confusing

as far as i know, i've seen and guess in different spots
your loyalty is produced by your huts used by your leaders
the race multiplier for your leaders casting ability determines how much you make from the spell and how much loyalty it costs.
After that you've got the ratio and that highlights race attributes, for example, a wolf at 100 ratio makes x at y costs, wolf at 175 makes x at y costs far cheaper than itself and extends it's quality against an identically setup race on a lesser multiplier

In short, if you get land in the start of your run, build up leaders until your last turns and use the spells loot and feast when your over 85 ratio, you shouldn't have problems with loyalty no matter your race, with a wolf your all good from around 70 ratio

Coding out holes in the game is the best way to do things.
Relying an the admins to patrol is a) time consuming for the admins in question b) unreliable c) only invites conflict
There is no conflict or "I didn't know any better!" excuses with a coded in rule.

The Obliterator

I always thought that you needed to be over a 100 leader/hut ratio to feast or loot.
Is this true??

No, you need to be over (I think) 30. Might be as high as 50, I forget. But you won't get very much at 30 ratio lol. You do need to be around 100 to goldmine though.

Heh, but if you feast at 30loyalty, not only will it consume vast loyalty, it will also make nothing. I never feast/loot below a 75ratio unless I'm desperate or have loyalty to waste, so I don't think you're strat will need that much adjusting.

I'm currently in top position by a huge margin BUT I'm intentionally dropping down to the bottom.

It is 30!

I will not deleted this

To Firetooth
I didn't know you could to it at a 75 ratio
Iv been wasting many truns on all my leader runs getting to a 100 ratio before dropping land then feasting.
So in other word i could be doing a lot better if i had known about that

That makes absolutely no sense... The act of dropping land is what gives you the ratio. If you don't understand that, then I'm pretty sure that is the reason you're not doing as well as you should be.

The Obliterator

No what i mean is i earn loyalty until i have a 100 leader hut ratio
Then i feast/loot
I didn't know you could do it at say 75 leader hut ratio
Thats all i was saying
