Actually, no. The second time, he didn't "die" a way a normal human does. He was lifted directly to Heaven or sth. So he actually -died- only once. I think the same think happened to Mary as well...

Yes, I remember now. They even celebrate the "Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary". By "they", I mean some christian denominations. Mind you there's a Jedi Church as well...
