Quixote had to shove a troop or two away from him before he could reply. "Are you sure there's gonna be enough room?" the wildcat asked; a cut on his brow was dripping into his eye. He was already sending one of his soldiers to tell the others, though.

When Jadrek found out they were moving to a different ship, the wolf shoved an enemy away and dashed over to Jenik, who was close by, fending off another troop. "Move it or lose your life, we're gettin' outta here!" Jadrek growled, taking the rat down with a swipe of his sword.

"I ain't gonna leave this ship, not for nothin'!" the stoat growled, pushing Jadrek away.

"Suit yourself," the wolf retorted before running through the fray, looking for Quixote.

The lookout that was posted in the crow's nest eventually got the message from a Guard that had climbed up to deliver; he used his flags to relay a message to Quixote's other ships, saying that the Night Cat was going to fall into enemy hands, and the crew would be quickly moved to a different ship.

The whole process was time-consuming, however; it could've been several minutes before everyone knew of it.

Daryn

Daryn was back in the Juggernaut with his Night Hunters. The Vanguard, the strongest part of the fleet consisting of the Freebooter, Bloodkeel, Waveraider, Clawprow, Flamesail, and Deathwake.

Ublaz strode out onto the deck, eyes blazing with anger. "Who dares do this?"
There was the floating bosy of Lask Frildur floating toward the ship. Ublaz hauled it up and a message in canvas was stuffed down the monitor's throat.
"Ublaz. Your death is coming. X Pewlet X" followed by two crossed swords.
The pine marten snarled with anger. "Pewlet, i should've sent you to the gates of Dark Forest long ago!"

((...You wouldn't happen to be listening to the Caramelldansen song, would you, Daryn?))

Within a few minutes, Quixote, Jadrek, and about two-thirds of the Ninja Guard that had been aboard the Night Cat had jumped across to the Juggernaut. "This was the closest ship," the wildcat apologized.

As Jadrek watched, several opposing vermin attacked Jenik, who had stayed on the Night Cat. "I'his is my ship, you hear me?!" the stoat roared, taking down two of the soldiers; they were replaced by three more. Pretty soon, Jenik was being buried by enemy troops.

"Idjit," the wolf muttered, shaking his head. "Can't let go of that ship, can he?"

Daryn

"If i was him," Daryn muttered, "I would've done the same, but who to protect the Emperor. Lask Frildur is dead."

In the horizon, Pewlet's fleet moved in for the kill.

<<Unfortuantley, i have been listening to caramelldansen "><">>

((Yeah, it was a bit obvious.))

Quixote blinked. "Whoever that is," he muttered, "he must've been important if that fact stands out."

"Does it matter if it helps us against this fleet?!" Jadrek growled; he'd snatched the spyglass from the wildcat and was occupied with staring at the enemy fleet.

Daryn

ublaz's best warship, Gutprow and Spikesail, had a massive ram installed right below the water line. It effectively sunk Pewlet's ships. Many of their fleet were destroyed.

Ublaz leered as he watched the destruction. "Gutprow, come with the main fleet. Spikesail, Waveraider, Bloodkeel, Crabclaw, Flamesail, and some others! Destroy the remaining ships! The remainder of the fleet, come with me!"

Pewlet cursed his luck. Now half of his fleet of ships were destroyed.

When Ublaz's orders got to the Juggernaut, Quixote was unsure on whether he should order his ships to stay and take care of the remaining ships, or if he should follow Ublaz. On one hand, this venture of Ublaz's was likely to get a lot of them kxlled; this city may not even exist, for all he knew. On the other hand, if it did exist, then there might be riches waiting.

Quixote's decision was quick. "You," he pointed to his signal-man, who hadn't gone up yet, "go up and tell the others to stay and help with the remaining enemies."

The stoat nodded, then ran over to the mast, where a ladder waited, and climbed up to the crow's nest. The message sent to Quixote's other ships was stay put, dispatch enemies.

Quixote had to look for a bit to find Daryn. "Do you know where this ship is going?" the wildcat asked.

Daryn

"To the far west, past where the sun sets," Daryn muttered. "Ublaz's theory is that if we sail west, we can get to the Far East instead of sailing east through the treacherous land routes. I have been to this city. It is a place of riches. That's where i recieved my training in martial arts...one of the many styles. I can teach you if you like Quixote. You seem like a prmising student. According to Ublaz, the voyage would take about a moon to reach the far east shores."
Pies.

Quixote blinked. "Sail west to reach the Far East? Seems to me like we'd be going further away at first."

"If we have to, then we will," Jadrek interjected. "I just hope that the ships, the ones that are staying to clean up this mess, know where we're going. 'Cause if Quixote's ships are all lost, then that would be a terrible blow."

"As for the training," Quixote continued, "well...let's just say that the line of ninjas didn't really start anywhere near Mossflower or its surrounding countries." With that, the wildcat strode to the end of the stern, looking back at where his other ships would be; the fog was starting to lift by now.

Daryn

Daryn grunted. "Well, the world, as indicated by my country's philosophers is round. Sailing west far enough will reach the east. If you're not going to take my offer..."

The crew of the Juggernaut fished out a survivor from Pewlet's ships. He was a soaked rat, and was brought to Daryn for interrogation.
"What is his goal?" Daryn snarled.
The rat whimpered. "I don't know, sir. He only keeps the plans in his inner circle."
"Worthless..." the leopard snarled and killed the rat with a Dragon-fist punch. "Haul his carcass overboard. There is no use for him. We need to get a live captain or higher rankings."
"What about a spy?" Morvatius asked.
Daryn stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Well that might work. Get Vardrake."
Morvatius nodded and left.
Pies.

Jadrek watched the event silently. Once Morvatius had left, the wolf walked up beside Daryn. "Well, if I know Quixote enough," Jadrek said, "I'd say he'll need that training of yours, no matter what he says himself. I've had to rescue him from a lot of situations."

Daryn

Daryn considered Jadrek's offer. "Bring him to me."

Jadrek nodded, then turned and strode to the stern of the ship, where Quixote was standing; the wildcat seemed to be lost in thought.

"They found someone in the water, didn't they?" Quixote asked quietly. "I could hear what they were saying, they were a little loud."

"I suppose you could say that," Jadrek replied, just as quiet. As usual, he didn't know much of what was going on in his superior's head. A minute later, the wolf ventured to say, "You do need the training, sir."

"What good would that do me?" the wildcat snorted, still looking out at sea. "You know just as well as I that I'm descended from a line of ninjas. So why be trained in martial arts?"

Jadrek sighed. "If I had no fear of you, sir, I'd say why."

Quixote finally turned and looked Jadrek in the eye for a few moments. "You won't give up, will you?" he asked with a sigh. The wildcat didn't wait for a reply, but went back down to the deck, looking for Daryn, with Jadrek in tow.

*Meanwhile...*

"Commander wouldn't be happy 'bout thiz," the weasel muttered; he was the captain of one of Quixote's ships. Out of the whole enemy fleet, only a few or so of Pewlet's ships had escaped; the weasel considered that to be enough to bring the Commander's wrath down on the ships' captains, though.

Once he'd found out from his lookout in the crow's nest that the rest of Ublaz's fleet was still in sight, though distanced, the weasel had the signal sent to the other ships to meet up with the Commander's ship.

Daryn

"I see you have come for me," Daryn smiled as he appeared out of the thick mist that clothed most of the ships. "I know ninjas are skilled in their abilities, but there are things that you don't learn. You can cheat death for a few days, by learning to slow your breathing. That would be enough time to get you help. Break someone's neck with a punch. I will teach you the five essential styles of fighting, along with the Leopard Style, only taught to cats."
"These are the five styles:
Crane with crane beak fist is more for defending than attack, for a crane is not usually an aggressive bird.
Snake is for quick strikes that target vital areas to dispatch enemy easily.
Tiger, you will have to endure the Iron Palm training, for punches that a Tiger master delivers usually can break all the bones in his hand unless he has this, but the pay off is, you break your enemy's bones by crushing them with a punch.
Dragon can be used for defense and attack, and it mimics the movements of an oriental dragon. It uses the dragon claw fist, which can  break bone, or tail kick, which hits the vital blood delivering points of the body, like neck, wrist, abdomen, etc.
Monkey is the fastest and you will need to be quite flexible when training for one.
Leopard is fast punishing blows and it is more like guerilla warfare. Lead your enemy until you see where you should hit, and then strike out as hard as you can."
"So now, what do you say?"
Pies.

Quixote was silent, no emotion appearing on his face as he stared at Daryn. After a few moments, Jadrek turned his head to look at the wildcat. "Uh, Quixote?" he said, poking him.

Quixote just simply fell to the deck, away from the wolf's poking.

"Sir!" Jadrek kneeled down beside the wildcat, rolling him onto his back and putting an ear to Quixote's chest. "He's still breathing," the wolf muttered, now probing the wildcat for anything that might be the source. After a few minutes, he found a small dart in the back of Quixote's neck. "How could this happen?!" Jadrek said, standing up and glaring suspiciously about the deck.
