Krowdon whipped around and snarled viciously. "What do you want, cat?"

((...I don't know, Krowdon. May I have permission for my characters to interact with your character in the future?))

/Sheesh,/ Quixote thought, resuming his silent watching, /I only asked a simple question. No need to be stingy 'bout it./

Jadrek sighed silently. If Ublaz kept on like this, then /nobody/ would speak up after a while.

((Thanks.
...Okay, what in the world is /that/?!))

"Ublaz is kind of crazy these days," Barranca the corsair muttered to Quixote. "Best not to get on his bad side."
"Aye," another pirate muttered to him. "Dangerous is more the word that crazy. He's been dangerous ever since he lost the war for the pearls."

<<Sorry Krowdon, about your character and stuff >< >>

/Right,/ Quixote thought, /I remember hearing about it./ "Well," he replied, "you heard him. We need to prepare the ships."

/I'd say dangerous /and/ crazy!/ Jadrek thought to himself, overhearing the comments.

Daryn

The ships were prepared. Quixote went on his, the Night Cat.
Daryn, Lask, and Ublaz went on the Juggernaut, the most powerful warship ever to sail the seas.
The setting sun framed the harbor prettily, but the prettiness could not hide the evil intentions of the mad-eyed emperor.

With the Night Cat's stoat captain booming with orders, the ship sailed out of the harbor, heading someways out into the sea to meet with the other ships that Quixote was leading; with all of them filled with soldiers, the elite being the Ninja Guards, the wildcat's army was a force not taken lightly.

"You aren't really putting your trust in this guy, are you?" Jadrek asked Quixote; they were both on the Night Cat, where they were safe from prying ears.

"Not really," the wildcat replied calmly, arms folded. "However, we did offer our services, even if it's for a time. Once this campaign is over, and we have what we need, we can leave. After we get our payment, anyways."

Jadrek sighed. "All right, then, if you say so," he receded, nodding to Quixote before heading up to stand near the helm. He still had this feeling that, sometime, somewhere, something would go terribly wrong...

Mr.Grimm

Far,far away... A seagull landed on the Sea Wolf. He walked around the fog covered ship carefully. There was no one to be seen right now. He wished there was some other way to get food besides going here. It didn't look anyone was on the deck right now so the seagull was just about to leave when a figure came out of the fog. "Report." said Pewlet. The seagull swallowed hard. "Captin, Ublaz has set sail. He looks for some city called Shangri La. He has set sail with some other creatures. I don't think they will give you much trouble." Pewlet stared at the sky for awhile. "I believe you bird. Ublaz is just the kind to do something like that. Go to the galley and get some food. I have no more need of you right now." The seagull bowed his head flew into the galley. Pewlet touched his eye patch. Now he would have his revenge. He called up his first mate Blidder. Blidder ran up to him. "Yes, Captin? What is it?" Pewlet still looking at the sky answered him. "Ublaze has set sail. We must give him a voyage he will never forget. Once the bird is done eating, find out what's Ublaze's course." Blidder nodded. "Right away captin!" Pewlet looked now down to the sea. That sea would be Ublze's grave.

The fog was thick as the mighty fleet of ships headed west.
Ublaz was in his chambers swigging wine and tearing apart roast sea birds. Lask was sick and in his quarters. Overall, Daryn was in charge of the Juggernaut.
"Ship ahoy!" the bosun cried. The ferret scrambled down from the crow's nest, to the rat-lines, and landed neatly beside the snow leopard. "A ship, a war ship, is headed toward our fleet. They have a fleet behind it!"
Daryn scrutinized the mist with his single eye. He saw the looming ship. Suddenly, a fire arrow sprang forth from the vessel toward the leopard. He saved his life by shoving the bosun in front of him.
"All hands on deck, me hearties!" Daryn roared. "Attack! Attack!"

Quixote had gotten out his spyglass after the stoat in the Night Cat's crow's nest had sighted new ships. /What's going on over there?/ the wildcat thought, frowning as he watched, through his spyglass, the crew on the Juggernaut scramble around, seemingly preparing for something.

"What are your orders, sir?" a nearby stoat asked. This stoat, who went by the name of Jenik, had plenty of sea experience; he was also a hardened veteran. He was currently the captain of  the Night Cat.

"Prepare the ship for battle," Quixote said, now watching the oncoming ships through the spyglass. "Send a signal to the other ships, tell them that a battle will be coming very soon." He ignored his ear twitches as the stoat captain immediately started roaring orders at the crew, one of whom was in charge of signaling to the other ships via a set of flags made for such a purpose.

"I knew something would happen," Jadrek growled, suddenly appearing at the wildcat's side. "I'll go get the Guards ready, in case it comes to that." Without another word, the wolf disappeared just as suddenly, heading belowdecks to prepare the Ninja Guards.

Mr.Grimm

On board the Sea Wolf, things were hectic. Pewlet ordered his archers to fire all fire arrows. He had boarding parties on stand by. Taking an eye glass, he looked at his foes fleet. "Might be a bit of trouble... I can't tell which one has Ublaze either.... Steerbeast! Brings on around to the Night Cat! We'll start our search there!" The steerbeast looked at the Night Cat. "Aye, aye capin'!" Pewlet looked at Blidder, "Have the other ships work in teams of two. One will use fire arrows to keep them busy, while the other one boards the ship. It looks like we might have few more ships then them. Plus, we have the element of suprise on our side." Looking at the crew of the Sea Wolf, Pewlet barked an order, "I want Ublaze alive! First beast that brings him to me gets an extra part of the loot!" The crew gave a cheer. It sounded easy enough. Pewlet picked up his eye glass and looked again at the Night Cat. "Lets see you get out of this one Ublaze...."

Daryn

Daryn lunged over the gap between their ships and landed on the Night Cat. His Night Hunters followed en suite.
Pewlet's forces attacked ferociously.
"Quick," the snow leopard roared. "Tortoise formation!"
The Night Hunters locked their shields and poked their long spears through the gaps. They charged straight into the fray.

"Fire!" Quixote roared. His archers, members of the Ninja Guards, shot fire arrows at those on the Sea Wolf. The wildcat drew his dual katanas; he wasn't the sort of leader that always stayed back from battle. The other Ninja Guards, those not occupied with shooting arrows, had their katanas out as well; they were also clad in varying kinds of armor.
Jenik, the ship's captain, was also ready for battle, with sickles gripped in his paws. /You ain't taking this ship!/ the stoat thought, charging into the fray, which the other defenders quickly joined.

Daryn

Daryn signalled to one of his Night Hunters, Noitra, to get Ublaz to the Vanguard warship.
"Quixote," the leopard growled. "This ship is a lost cause. Half of the crew is slaughtered. We stand a better chance by escaping!"
