I once met a girl who had actually skinned a dead fox she'd found by the side of the road. For fun.
Mental.
She kept making death threats against me, and I could never be quite sure that they weren't for real... she seemed friendly enough though, just really into skinning.

years ago a guy in one of my classes taxidermied(sp?) a raccoon that he had found on the roadside and replaced all of the teeth and eyes with little red dice.  He brought to school and many of the history teachers used it as a hall pass.

It was so creepy looking.  We would always play tricks on subs by placing the raccoon on their chair.

Ashy, death threats from a skinner should be taken with a grain of salt. I mean that literally, it helps to cure the hide.

and I don't normally kill something unless I intend to eat it, or it's a pest, or just annoying
