Leader Suicides way out of wack!

OK this is just ridiculous. There is no proportion to leader suicide attacking. I remember this used to be done way back when, but I feel like it needs to be toned down:

I know that we want people with high net to be able to be taken down, but this is ridiculous. It is just totally out of proportion.

I always assumed it was best to suicide with low leaders yourself, that way you don't lose much. Never done it though, so I'm not sure.

We talked about implementing something that multiplied the max losses by the percentage of the attackers land that was on huts. So to do full damage, you need to have 100% huts. It was never taken beyond the talk stage though.

Did they turn off leader defense or something? Because it seems like people are losing far more leaders than they should.
