Can you name a famous violist?

So, I had the idea for this poll after searching YouTube for 'Viola'. And, no, I cannot name a famous violist.

William Primerose had some pretty good vertuosi.  If your looking for a more modern violist, I suggest listening to some of Scott Slapin's work.

I'm just amazed that someone acctually could name a couple. I guess they can take my classical music card now... (wait, do I have membership cards for all of my interests/abilities?)
