Zero - Compaq Proliant, P3 server
MiG - Dell Dimension, P4
Halifax - Sun 450, quad Sparc server
Lightning - Custom, Core Duo
Dal - G3 iMac, dalmatian edition
Ambler - IBM Intellistation, P3

Ambler and Dal are the only ones not named after an aircraft.  Dal because, well, the dalmatian coloring is rather striking.  Ambler came pre-named.

I call the rundown dell in my room old crumbly-instead of turn off my computer option when you log off, it says turn off old crumbly. :D

About half of 'my' boxes have some sort of human-recognizable hostname.
Equus - Dell E1505 (Notebook with Intel Core Duo)
Omniserver - Salvage Dell with a PIII in it
Rodent - Salvage dell with a slower PIII in it

And... well, that's it.

This is going to sound really geeky, but my family's computer is named Sanya. >.< As in the mother of Martin the Warrior. My sister and I named it, my dad just thought it was so we could say "Sanya the Sony".
