Your school network is likely a T1/T3 Coby

I'm on NCSU's network.  Zoomy.

I know--but you can never be too sure. :P

I'm having a hard time classifying that: Does your school count as an ISP... Since Windy is right, they got to get their bandwidth from somewhere (I think Poly has its own optical carrier lines). Though, the same could be said about DSL, Cable, and Broadband...

That... And does FIOS count as being an optical carrier line?

Too bad bandwidth is checked back so much... they are so against P2P but it also slows down stuff like Windoze update.

I'm glad my province will be dial up free by the end of the year
been building up the infrastructure for years, particularly in rural areas
but soon, there will be no dial up service any where in British Columbia
all dial up customers are getting free DSL upgrade for the same monthly bill as their dial up was
