For those who don't know, he's suffered for at least 7 or 8 years due to cancer and leukemia. =/ I can't imagine the pain his family has gone through, and the pain they're suffering right now. I wonder if they'll ever know how many people's lives he touched through Promisance. Sounds kinda silly, cause it's just a game, but we're also a community of strong friends, and none of us would have met if it wasn't for Promisance.

[edit] Correction: I received an email from a friend of the family who says that Paul only had cancer for 2 1/2 years, not 7-8 years. I think I read somewhere that he had health problems for many years and I misread it to mean he had cancer for those years.

  Poor guy, this has put me into one of my very reflective mood's..... Cancer can be a devestating thing, my auntie had it just a few months ago but has recovered, I have a friend however who's father died very suddenly of terminal cancer, I felt very sorry for him.
  Where as Paul purgett was only what, 28, a young age to die at.

  We can never repay him enough for what he did in creating promisnace, it's certainly changed a lot of people's lives.
