The Slacker Strat

I've discovered a new strategy. Basically what you do is wait until Peace Alliance (Steady Hand) has poured blood and sweat into gathering up as much land as possible, blowing most of his earnings on buying out rats so he can make sure shadow doesn't become unbreakable (and making sure he doesn't keep getting maxed at 40k land!!). Then you attack Peace Alliance for as many attacks as you can, maxing him with captures, sacks, or anything. Lowering him to half the land shadow gets maxed at because I'm not leaving my military defenses up...

then you sit back and wait for him to round it all up for you again.

i don't think it's anything personal...I mean you're basically gathering up all the land, and then putting up no defenses. For all we know you could be using the land to store all of your stuff in the clan storehouse (which is what I do)..I hope you beat shadow, but I don't think anyone's going to stop attacking you just because you're trying to take out the top guy.

But yeah, what do you expect if you are gathering all that land? And since you are the only person really putting the effort into taking me down, of course I am going to capture you. If you have a lot of land, all the better.

And for the record, I am not actually locking land at the moment - I actually drop a bunch almost every run so that my ratio is perfect for gold mining.

The thing is i fully understand why everyones doing it, but i just think it would be to all your best interests if you didn't!

true... but this isnt turning into a simple math statistic.... its turning into a topic about human nature.... more imporatly social dinamics...... its a very socialist mantality...... we all work togeher for the greater good of ourselfs cuz if we both work equaly as hard we get double the output 3 ppl= 3 times and so on.... what ends up happening is somone (bye smomeone i mean everyone but everyone is working mentaly individualy) realizes that if they only do like 3/4th the work tehre suppose to then they can keep that extrea 1/4 work for themselfs and if everyone still contributes noone will notice..... inb priniciple same reason comunism dosnt work...... human's are to self preserving.....
