attack types

when i attack someone with ~30k land with leaders i get 800-1200 land per attack. When someone attacks me (i have ~30k land) with troops, im losing about 4x as much per attack - is this normal?

It's the new attack system. When you are hitting them, you have many more troops than they do. When they are hitting back, they have closer to your number of troops in the type they are attacking with, and thus are getting more land.

Which is really messed up, since--logically speaking--having more troops should gain you more land, not less.

im not talkin troop atks vs troops atk, although i do agree with white fang

should leader mission "attack" get only 25% of the land that a normal troop attack gets?

You're missing the point entirely. The problem is not leader attacks taking small amounts of land, it's the new attacking system taking too much land.

Let me break this down for you;
If you have many times your opponents defenses, you will get less land.
If your opponent has 0 of that troop type, you will get even less land.
If you have just over enough to break them, you will get something like 2 - 5 times what you really should.

For example, When I run turns, I can easily scoop up the majority of the land in the game, and still have nearly 400 turns to do with as I please. Honestly, 2 health per attack, AND several times the land you should get, is a major issue.


Now, this attacking setup messes up our values as warlords. In the books, the toughest warlord with the largest army controls most of the land, and therefore has the most power.
We shouldn't be expected to sell off the majority of our precious armies just to conquer weaker warlords.

lol with the new attacking system it aint hard! haha but i guess we've switched back to the old one although im not sure of exactly what happened i would anticipate that it wont be as easy now, because i struggled to gather 50k land in 40turns.....unlike before.

I kind of like the fluency of land in turbo, however, in reg, I think it should be harder. {but not until we break alpha fang}
