dogs are the best pets. They lick you, let you pet them more, are really smart (not Afgan Hounds, though :rolleyes: ). They also protect you and don't sleep all the time.

My dog is an ACD (Australian Cattle Dog). She is perfectly marked. Our neighbors found her in a parking lot and we adopted her. Shadow (my dog) loves me. She licks me (and will lick the inside of my mouth if i let her). Dogs are also cuter :D Dogs are much better companions, too. I see ppl cry from losing a dog, but not so much a cat.

My cat is 16 and hates being picked up. She scratches you if you pick her up, and when she is licking you, she'll all of a sudden bite you. My mom found her at her work when Sybil (the cat) was found as a tiny kitten.

 All cats are different. They're all unique and have their own personalities. Some love you to death, let you pick them up, play with you, lick you or whatever. Some hate you no matter what.

If you pick up a cat too much when it's little (like we do) it won't like to get picked up at all. Dogs licking the inside of your mouth is just disgusting. My cat never sleeps when I want it too :( How many people's dogs sleep in their bed? How many peoples cats?

Maybe I'm the only one.
