 as players join they are automatically split into two clan, fire and ice
these two clans then battle it out..  
I think in one of the versions, if not /the/ version, there was an admin-generated horde for each team that had an insane troop-filled net and large amount of land, and it was the job of each clan to protect their emp while breaking the other..

 Clans sorted by what era you joined the RWL community in would be nice. Can't attack until you join a clan, and we'd just sort everything out on the forums.

 That would be too hard to work out just split it randomly.By there warlord number.
