And to answer your question: VIPs are basically anyone we (the staff) decide want to come along to the meeting, but don't necessarily have to involve themselves in the organisation of RedCon. They vary from high up members of the ROC such as Shorey and Retto to friends that we wanted to invite along (but also members of the ROC).

 Yesh, that answers my question.

I think we should invite Sean Rubin as a VIP.  I mean, he did the covers for the Redwall audio books, and does some other stuff for the ROC like Terrouge and VI.  I know he wants RedCon to happen, so going to the '04 thing would probably be fun.

 I'm thinking that we should be focusing at least some of our efforts on this right now. I know it's still two months away, but a lot has to be done.
And since I'm not going, I don't plan on doing much of the work.
I've tried to contact some of the people who said that they'd be going, but they just ignore me. So, some advice might be to try to get contacting them as soon as possible, because when it comes to July it might be too short a notice for them.

I'll have what I planned to have done before the 10th of June.

 Well, I was also planning on going, but unfortunately my family decided to take a family vacation the week or two before the meet......Soooo, we're going to Six Flags in Illinois & then going up to Michigan later on in the week soooo......I'll be unable to & especially now with this stupid job that doesn't pay nearly as much as it should......*grumbles* and my insurance on my car....*grumbles more*

 Okay, let's push forward and get the venue out of the way. Once we have that done I can start trying to convince the Redwall Company that this will be the best thing they invested in.

Of course to do that we'll have to get the Business Plan and the Budget done aswell.
