I was logging in normally and this happened. It's never happened before. What's up with that?

 Wow, I hate that error message. I got it about a million times when my computer decided to hate me for a couple months.

 Turn off your Norton Internet Security. Same thing happened to me.

 Yeah, this whole thing happened when my dad installed a new hardrive, so my computer's a lot faster.

I deleted all cookies and files, but when I tried to log on and it didn't work i looked at the cookies and files and there were some that said rwl/ and rovl.org etc.
How do I reset web settings?

 if you dont know about the proxy stuff you probably didnt set one

what browser are you using? reset web settings is usually in the tools menu in ie6

i think garagas might have it right.. a lot of "security" software filter out certain things
do you have any special firewall/security/etc programs installed?

ways to repair internet explorer
dont forget to scroll down for running the ie6 repair tool manually if its not in add/remove

if all else fails you might be better off getting another browser
i recommend mozilla firefox or K-meleon
