 In round 1, I do rember when a friend of mine, No. 515 Daemons, came up with an instresting stragity.

The stragity worked by massing guard towers, reguardless of landfat, and leaders for offencive operations. Only enough army was kept around to make the guard towers worthwile. At the height of his horde, he clamed to have over 20,000 Guards.

Advantages:
Reiable Offence- You can break anyone but another leaderhound.
Desant Defence- The guards provide a fairly good defencive structure.

Disadvantages:
Landfat- You are a target to various hordes, thinking it an opertunity.
Slow to recover offence- Leaders are killed in fairly high amounts, so more turns are used recovering them.


So, what do you all think of this sort of stragity?

 Solo is sort of doing htat strategy, except he is massing rats and guards. He has about half a million leaders I think, but his towers are crazy.

 Heh... I remember 515 very well.  I got several complaints that I attacked them.   :rolleyes:    Their strategy, as I recall, was kind of weak.

 Sounds spiffy, but does it work? I prefer guard-tower-less skiff-massing. You can't defend, but you can attack..

 That's the kind of strat that sounds good, but is *very* hard to actually pull off effectively for any length of time...

 GUARDS ROCK. I like massings rats, then smushling the top guys and building all guards and see my defense percentage rocket up. Hope I made sense thar...

 Lets see, as I recall this is also known as the Leader-Loot strategy.  Or something similiar to it....*whispers* Now, I'm defiantely not telling you people who I am in game considering that I'm using this strategy to a point...*runs away*

 just out of curiosity what should the land to netwoth ratio be someone once told me for every million networth u should have around 1000 land is that a good statement?

 it'd take too long and is just plain hard to me,really hard, <_< I just don't like it at all....
