My dog whimpers at thunder and gunshots, and he's a big dog and 10 years old, too!

The air was thick with gunpowder. All around him were blasts and bright, short lived lights. Debris fell all around him as he tried to escape, but it was no use. The war in the sky was reaching it's zenith, and send the sky into fire.

My fourth in a nutshell

Loaded up black powder muzzle loader, just wadding no bullet. Used 150 grains which is 30 more than the max. Big boom, bright flash, lots of smoke, fun. Family rejoiced at our only contribution to the festivities thanks to the dry weather banning fireworks in some places.

my town doesn't do its fireworks until the weekend after the 4th of july weekend.  So I watched the one in the capital
