People seem to assume that since you need 20 leaders/land to get production up, that noboy can do missions because they all have the same ratio. This is not true. You would be amazed how many players have crappy leader ratios even on low land.

Throwing missions around is an excellent way to keep an enemy down between runs. Use them!

The value of sabotage:

Sabotage destroys 7% of your opponent's built land, and takes some of their health. Let's focus on the built land aspect.

When you attack someone, you take on average 3.5% of their built land and 5% of their free land. Which means that the more of their land is free, the more land you get.

Now, sabotage stacks up. The first time you use it they just have a little bit of free land, so you don't get much extra. But over time, the more you do it, the more land is free and the more you take with each attack (relative to their remaining total).

The punchline is that by your 21st attack, you are taking around 4.6% of their total land instead of the usual 3.5%, on average. At the end of the 21 attacks, attacking normally takes 52.7% of their land, using drive takes 56.2% (it does very little), while using sabotage takes 59.6% of their land and leaves 75% of their remaining land unbuilt!

Don't forget that on top of this it also damages their health AND makes it harder to recover since more than half their land will be free as a result of all this and be useless.

With shields up, sabotage takes 55.7% of their land, so you are better off using drive if their shields are up from a purely land gain point of view, however note that you also leave 35% of their land unbuilt and take down their health, so it can be worth it anyway.
