This may be a bad one

 Do you realize that almost no one has skiffs or weasels? They all use rats and stoats. Now, I am doing this stratigy just to see if it's ok, and I was ranked 4 for an hour, so it must be ok.

Ok, you are a weasel. You set your skiff to like 70-80% and mix up the rest. Than you build Barracks(for more skiffs) Guards(to protect from any other unit) and huts. Of course you need forgers and markets, but since it takes longer to get tons of skiffs, you won't need many forgers.

Than you do corsair(weasel special) and you get more skiffs. Than, you espionage people until you find some one with almost no skiffs, and hit them hard. I had only 500,000 skiffs, but from rank 34 I broke rank 10.

Bad point in this- You don't have many rats/stoats/weasels, so they can take back their land unless you have guards up the heezy.

Also, you economy won't do to good. But it helped me alot, except I go from rank 10 to 30, than attack some one and go back up, than down, than up, than down. Please tell comment.

 You need something more substantial to hold your rank.

 How about " Build up normally until you have about 700,000 of everything. Sell everything except skiffs, buy more skiffs, and attack someone that you don't like unitl you can't anymore. Build markets, do Corsair, and buy other troops. Durng the late stages, have your skiffs on 95%. Now, you are buying ore troops, getting easy land to support them, and you are kicking everyone else's butts."

 I use that strat. It's not bad at all! I can recover fast, and I always have extra money...

 Except you have new players who are Martens and use Gold Rush and get lots of cash and stack rats so it's tough to get in the High Ranks. Mine is harder to execute, but eliminates the problem of ratties. (A name I have for people who stack rats)

 Then I crush them with Skiffs, and take note of ther high leaders , therein using a considerable portion of the land to buil hutses.

Stack leaders anyway. I do so and have substantial forces to block incoming attacks and crush the defenses of others in my proximatey of attacking range.

 I say in my oppinion get like 500,000 of everything, stack leaders and huts and build a lot of guard towers, than forcus more on stacking skiffs and using corsair get more skiffs, then attack people who have almost no skiffs and also leave your other troops so you can defend yourself.

 It was just an idea, the main point was that build up leaders, huts, guards and all your troop tybes before you build up your skiffs so you can defend yourself.

 How about you stack up one thing and then just have ATON of guards? Then, you wouldn't need to worry about attacks. An example is at one point in time, I attacked someone with 1 million skiffs. He had 1500 skiffs to defend but like 30000 guards. He held his defenses....
