I wouldn't say one is the best, but I would say painted one is probably the worst.

They are all good for different things, thats what makes them different.

All have differing benefits. Lizards are beasts at holding land early. Wolves are great at food. Marten is one of the best. IDK. Echoing rakefur i guess.

Idk about indys, but rats are best attacking and producing troops.

Lizards have great defense, also pretty good.

Wolf is good leader race, and has better defense than marten, but marten has goldmine, a double powered loot spell.

I usually play as wolf.

I have been Fox, Wolf, Rat, Marten, Wildcat and Ferret and I think thats it.

Well, I did try wolf and Marten, but I didnt like them as much. So I went back to Fox.

I dont even use the race spell. lol.

Wolf and Marten are generally the best for a leader race, Lizard is my favorite indy race.
