It might increase to 10 days though...apparently that was the generally accepted time requirement to becoming Emperor on Reg.

Yeah, I think it was 10 days. Though most people distinguished those "Emps" from the true Emperors of reg. The latter being the folks who didn't just take and hold first, but completely took over the game.
