turbo round idea

How about a no barracks round? All the troops have to come off the markets. It would promote market use, both public and mercs.

Would be fun - it would be a bit tough on new players, but it'd be worth giving it a try.

I'd also like a round which somehow promoted old style solo indying. Would probably have to be a 'no clans' round, or at least get rid of unlimited aid...unlimited aid killed solo indying imo.

I'd like that too, and as Oblit pointed out leadering is quite tricky. Indying is alot easier to learn.

It was simple to setup.  We're a good third of the way through the round anyways, so the indies wont have to suffer long.
