The idea is good, the picture...not.

Lately their site falls a lot, try it later. Few minutes ago i check it and the site worked.

There's also gimpshop, http://www.gimpshop.com/ , which is a fork of Gimp.  Its layout is almost exactly like photoshop, so many of the photoshop tutorials can almost be used.  Depends on what you're doing. 

I use normal Gimp.

But yeah...  considering its going to be at the bottom of every post, it really should be a little less tall.  Under 100px would be alright.  64px ideal...

Np, I agree that it could use some down-sizing though, Im not much good at stuff like this, so Im not the best person to ask,

Eh.  Its alright.  Its not great, but its not horrible, considering you drew most of it.

It needs to be cleaned up.  There's white flecks scattered throughout and along the edges.
Go lookup some shading tutorials.  Using a flat color for everything gives no depth.  Its just blah.
I'm not really sure what to say about the flaming head.  Except maybe give it more definition and round it out a little. 

Again, it needs to be less tall if you're going to have it in your sig.
Most people have a few short sentences down there now.  Large pictures get annoying.
