FAFers?

I can't access FAF pages. Every other web page works fine. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I can access it... Just all of our scripts are broken. The DBMS server appears to be down. No DBMS ==> No Data, seeing as just about everything uses the database.

Now DNS if down, at least for me. frostnflame.org is not resolving.

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.frostnflame.org.

* Check the address for typing errors such as
ww.example.com instead of
www.example.com

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I really wasn't kidding, according to Freen it has the internet version of rolling blackouts. It has a horrific host.

It's just DNS.... http://72.20.5.22/~faf/ and http://72.20.5.22/~faf/forum/ both work. Well, the forums themselves don't work, seeing as all the links still point to frostnflame.org.

And even if its out for 87.6 hours per year, that's still 99% uptime

I suppose I could FAF to my hosts file... But then I wouldn't know when the DNS was down. :)

It might have something to do with my location or connection, but I'm usually one of the last people to lose DNS and one of the first to get it back

99% uptime? It's down every single day for a while for me.

I don't mean cheap as in inexpensive, though it is and there's nothing wrong with that. It's a really bad host, I can get one for $5 a month with better service than the current.
